Default benefits of running w/o resonator

as a follow up of my recent topic https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=121347 i am going to use the ru-2820 in my stock air box, but without the resonator or any tubing leading to the box... i figure the resonator may heat up the air, and tubing will splash excess water to the filter (like comptech icebox). What do u guys think?

[EDIT]

I have the RU-2710 myself.

Anyway, I cut up my stock resonator box. I rigged up my own CAI out of it.

Saw a pickup with his air intake coming out the side of his fender then up to his roof....

That would work.... Unless you rolled into some water..
