i just bought some sidemarkers on the web they are JDM they claimed to be for a 99 civic ex but when i got them today in the mail the raper they are in says civic type r / EK9.....they have a clip on the back instead of wireing, is there some sort of wire harness i can get or will these not work??? any advice?

It's called sidemarkers for future reference. Personally I have never seen it in person or touched them so I'm not sure if they come with the actual harness that plugs into the back but going by the pictures in the link below it looks as if they made their own.

1) why post the same thing 2 times??
2) go to junkyard, find car with sidemarkers, take out the bulb and wiring, make sure it will fit yours, and if it fits, cut off the wiring and wire into yours

 

passwordjdm has the side marker wiring harness
All the 99-00 Honda side markers are the same. If you bought them off ebay you are lucky you got the real deal

you talk about buying a harness then say your friend is gonna customize a harness, what a waste you are.
