I have to say you gotta be a hell of a driver (turbo "R") !
thats what makes up for money thats why I've beat two 99-2000' si's with my stock ls ( they catch me bout the time I hit 90)

bfg drag radial was tested to i believe a mid 8 second run...
we turned 10.98@125 with a 1.6 60' in the miata....400rwhp
paul efantis and others have used the same and had great success....
get em bald and second gear burn out will heat em up..
i went 13.5@109 with a fwd mx6 with 1.71 60' back in the day bout 300fwhp
tire should be no lower that 12psi....the balder the better we tested....

i was using bfg 225-50-15.they were stil spinning across the finish line and it was hitting the rev limiter at 9500 right before the line.this year i have the 235-60-15 m/t.haven't used them yet.as far as what engine to build, bigger displacement will will be better,go with the gsr

lemme know how those MT's do. I want to run a radial tire so I can run power street but have something that hooks a bit better than the BFG's

i think ive made my mind up...GSR
so the gsr has more of a powerband right fellas?
i have a wannabe 99si so i hope i get good times on drag radials with a build gsr!
the thing is i have a b16 head and will b puttin it on a gsr...does it lower the compression?

Best on BFG's are some 7.9X's, best ever on radials is Rick Head, 7.66 on Mickey Thompson radials. You don't run 3 tenths quicker just by changing tires in a fluke accident., the MT's are a much better hooking tire.

go with a gsr its worth it and you wont be disappointed. There is no replacement for displacement...
