Default Something I threw together...

Well I was really bored last night, so I threw together a short clip of what little footage I have from this season. I know there aren't a lot of stunters on here, or people who appreciate stunting, but I post it for the few who do. I also try to add a little something different to all my edits to so it's not just a guy on a bike. So check it out.

first off, what kinda bike is that? (i saw a tublular frame) second, whose the vocalist? third i just got a 92 F2 ready to get stunted out, what did it take to get those MX bars on? did you drill the triple trees and just thread it to a MX stem?

sick vid, fast progression in 10 months, and +1 for doing circles with your foot in the 12 bar, thats a helluva lot harder than rear peg circles... now lets see some right hand circles

real good vid man

glad to see your in a private lot and not on the streets

The rider is my good friend BJ. I believe he just welded DB mounts to his triple clamp.

Yeah he just learned Seat Stander circles, and circles with his foot in the bar that day. He definitely has to go right. He is a super fast learner. It's crazy.

Thank you. We don't ride like that on the streets.

That was a nice video. I don't do that stuff, but I love to watch it.

That guy's bike control is truly impressive. It's incredible how slow he does all his stuff.

Yeah, I know a lot of people don't respect stunt riding, but it really does take a lot of bike control. It is just a different kind of bike control.

In my opinion as far as stunting goes it's divided two ways. The first is slow technical tricks like circles, no-handers, 12s, stoppies. And then there is just crazy **** like 12ing a tank spreader in second gear, or doing a acid drop. Which take some skill, but it's more about having big ***** than anything else.

Some times the areas you have to ride dictate what kind of tricks you do. For example we try to respect that lot we ride in by not doing any burnouts in it. And there isn't enough room to do anything second gear really.

But the slow stuff is really the hardest. The throttle is so much more twitchy in first gear, plus the bike isn't balanced side to side like it is when you are going faster. Doing a 2nd or 3rd gear stand-up wheelie is a lot of fun, but honestly once you find that "Balance point" there isn't much to it. Plus the bike engine brakes a lot harder in 1st, which actually caused me to crash the other day

He probably has a big *** rear sprocket. It's easier to do them slow that way

haha those are some really important ones If you are really serious and just want to stunt the thing you may also want to look into some kind of modified oil pickup, a lot of bikes have oil starvation problems while doing a lot of wheelies. Also braided lines are a huge plus. The last thing you want when you bring a wheelie up is to have brake fade and have no rear brake and loop the thing.

Also even though a lot of people think you should "earn it" and it is used for a lot of advanced tricks it owuldn't be bad to have a rear brake mounted on your bars for a hand brake.

I wouldn't say a 12 bar is absolutely necessary, sometimes when learning slow wheelies it can be kind of dangerous, but definitely get a cage. Your bike will be useless after just a few mistakes without one.
