Default Ebrake sticking BAD...how to fix

My ebrake is sticking BAD on driver rear wheel. Its burning up pads bad. It takes about 45minutes to release if I just let it sit. What should I look for to rectify this problem?

maybe your slave cylinder is sticking in the back? Maybe its time to take them apart and put them back. I know that has nothing to do with the E brake but it couldn't hurt to inspect.

Also, how about the spring and lines themselves? maybe you need to replace them?

Hopefully that helps.

no, if you have drums in the rear (I am assuming here) check the E brake cable lossen it or tighten it or maybe loosen up the shoes??

You may need to either get new e-brake cables, or if its a rear disk set up a caliper may be seizing up.

It is rear disk but it only seizes when the ebrake is used...does that make sense?
