need help with 4 wire 02 sensor
One wire O2's have been around a long time. 4 wire O2's provide better emmisions since the O2 is heated and starts working sooner, thus throwing the ECU into closed loop sooner. If you want to use a 4 wire O2, you need an ECU that uses a 4 wire O2. 2 of the wires are the signal & gnd, but the other two are for the heater section, which is controlled by the ECU. You should not attempt to use a 1 wire O2 with a 4 wire O2 ECU....you'll get codes.
yea when i dropped my friends B16A into his 93 dx i had to rewire it for a 4 pin O2 sensor. I hate that single wire poo poo, besides the P30, P28, and P72 are not goin to run very well with that poo poo. No air/fuel signal to comp. E-mail me for ECU pinouts.
