easy question... heat wrap coolant hoses?
Just curious if anyone heat wraps their coolant hoses with that header/ heat wrap material?
My upper radiator hose goes right over my compressor side and the intake piping... I want to cut down all that radiating heat from this stuff (esp. now that the weather is warming alot).
Opinions, ya, nay... doesnt matter and you want to post anyways, etc... I am intrested to know... thanks!

sounds like an idea, try it and report back to us
do you use the header wrap on your manifold? if so how is that working out?

I dont use header wrap cause the mani is so pretty bare but I am thinking about it now.
I am probably going to try the wraping of the upper/ lower coolant hoses first... just was curious if anyone else has done this and had any negative effects like the hose deteriating with the wrap on it.
Thanks... going to give it a try and will test the temps underhood before/ after.

I have some Versa Shield radiant heat shielding for sale that might be better. It is a soft, flexible, metalic fabric. New, cheap. PM if intererested.
