was wondering if anyone put a turbo on there 2005 and if the engine can handle all the mods involved with that. and which turbo is the best to get for rsx type s.

you can use the turbo for the earlier models, the blocks didnt change, just the internals.

HKS makes one.. it's pretty nice too.

they put down 316 whp, and like 260ish lb/ft using 100 octane gas.

it'll run you about $4k

the engine bay dimensions changed a little so the piping might not all fit if you're trying to put an 02-04 kit on an 05. note that is a might

well if you guys think about it, the all the rsx engine is the same, you could contact places and ask them for a kit, greddy's kit i think works for th e05 you can ask Mark@naperformance, I get all my parts from him and he is a direct vendor with alot of big name companies...

it will not work because the new RSX 05 has different cams therefore different amounts of air going into the cylinders. I mean you can bolt everything on but there maybe things that have to change like the intercooler piping. maybe the 05s have to be routed differently. to many assumption when the problem is so logical. I say leave it to the people at greddy, hks, and cybernation.

i recommend just piecing a turbo together and have someone help do the piping. its not that hard, and you'll save a lot more money. above >> im sure the turbo will work okay on the 2005 with proper ECU tuning.

I'm sure to but I would just let companies do the r and d so they know what works and what doesn't

on the hondata site, they worked with an 05, but they used a crossover harness and an 02-04 ecu.

there was also an article in (i believe) SCC or Super Street a few issues back highlighting an AEM 05 rsx.

Try http://www.full-race.com
we just order a Trubo kit from them for a 05 RSX Type S. As for fuel management you can use HKS F-Con V or Greddy E-manage I think.
I will keep you posted when the kit arrive
