id get rid of the tach...
a cable b16 tranny will work better for you...the hydro conversion is expensive and not worth it....or so i heard/read
also, any specs on your engine??? parts/power??

ok, heres a list..
i dont like:
- the bumpers, 90-91 suck ***, i would know. 92-93 is where its at, especially w/ a lip.
- the pillar pods.. need to go
- the tach..its not like the car doesnt have one.. get rid of it. if you wanna keep it for "the shift light" they sell shift lights that you can buy and set your shift points on.
- the "glo" gauges that are on there.. get rid of.
rest of the car is going in the right direction tho.. good find

depends on how much he picked it up for, that car was on sale for a while on HT, and how much he can pick up a good condition cable tranny for.
the ys1 tranny would work great with this setup, and might not be that hard to find since they could be found in 92-93 tegs here in the states.
and the jdm 1-piece headlights will do wonders, gl with your da

3k...seemed like a pretty nice deal to me. Has ls/vtec with b18b block and 99 si head. Has exhaust and aem cai with msd ignition. Nothing wild but its nice and reliable for now.
Sucks that the tranny is pretty much shot but i wasnt planing on keeping the ls anyways so it all kinda worked out. Im planing on building up the engine to go all out na. Prob drop some ctr's in it with stage3 cams...get head done and get myself a standalone. Body is in real good shape with no rust at all. Im happy with it.

I think the outside looks DOPE (except the mirrors)
I'd throw on some Spoon replicas for LHD, take out the tach and gauge faces and call it a day.

i agree with the tach being ugly.
the bezel is ugly and the gauge faces are ugly too (IMO, dont take offense if you like them)
i also agree with the 1 piece headlights. i like the 90-91 front bumper better than the 92-93's (even though i have a 93). i think the bumper has more of an "era" look to it. plus you can get the OEM optional lip
. thebeeguy has some aftermarket foglights in his and they look good (if you can't find or dont prefer the oem lip). the other things i'd suggest are: to remove that sticker between the tailights. i'd also recommend an S1/J1 as a tranny replacement or a GSR/92-93 xsi ys1 as a replacement. hydro conversions are crappy. i'd suggest ditching those wheels and finding something that matches the car a bit better (oldskoolness), and removing the gauge pod (the gauges you have aren't really neccessary).
other than that, good luck with the car and check out the DA squad

Well, one of them is to measure the brightness of high beams being flashed behind him. Another one is an extremely precise speedometer so he can go exactly the speed limit in the left lane. The third gauge in the pod measures the amount of cars behind him waiting to pass.
Personally, i'd ditch the tach. You never get out of 3rd gear anyway.
