Hi i have a problem with my third gear, sometimes when i put in the third gear at 8000 rpm it makes a bit of a noise but it goes in good. The problem is that i had my third gear syncro changed a month ago. Can anybody tell me what can it be the problem. it doesn't make the noise everytime. Thanks

 

why would you put it in 3rd @ 8k RPM? That might be grounds to damage something badly.

 

i think he means shifting @8000rpm in 2nd gear to third...

What exactly did you change? It could be the gear itself.

 

I have changed the syncro of the third gear. Could it be that i'm not qiuck enough when i'm shifting from 2nd gear to 3rd gear? This thing does not happen everytime.
