I just had the timing belt and clutch replaced. Now everytime I release the clutch when in 1st gear (and reverse too) I hear a squeal. The squeal stops as soon as the clutch is fully released. I don't hear it in any other gears.

 

i had a 4 puck and it used to do that, but i think its cuz mine was old and was starting to slip....

 

low tranny fluid or incorrect (or mixed fluids) could make it squeek also.

had one do it to me, after long trip it would squeek as i released the clutch..tranny was way low on fluid cause of a bad axle seal 8o
