Default new turbo vs rebuild

so i just blew my turbo. i was looking to get a gt32 from my friend his just waiting to get it back from beeing rebuild. some ppl say that a rebuild turbo is not good any more and for me just to get a new one.if i get my friends turbo it will be like $700 less that brand new.

anyways i was wondering if anyone out there had experience with something like this.

I'd have to say rebuilt. Saves you money and if it's built right, it'll run as good as a new one.

what's wrong with a rebuilt turbo? I rebuilt mine myself and it ran strong and has had no problems since.

Umm properly rebuilt turbos will work just as good as new....and plus if you're gonna save $700 I really really don't see how you can say no

to everyone who told him to get a new one

damn most the people i talked to selling a completely rebuilt turbo like t3/t4's they are asking like $50-100 less than new. they say oh its rebuilt. well its not new and no warentee if something goes wrong. its just safer. then you know what you got. imo

I had mine sent out to majestic and they sent it back looking spanking new. Majestic is the best IMO.
