um... my 91 dx ef9 is carbureted and i was planning on getting a b16 put on it in a couple of months.. 1 problem is b16 is dfi and im currently running a carburetor. what all would i need to get for that swap to work? how much extra would that cost to do the job?

i can show ya a pic of the engine to make sure we are on the same subject

 

If the civic was sold here in North America then it is not carbeurated. The dx/lx/std models are dual point fuel injected while the other models are multipoint fuel injected. Post pics so we can see your engine.

 

oO on the black box above the intake manifold it said something about dual point fuel injected. then i unscrewed that and it had that little metal plate inside of a pipe, which is a carburetor i thougth.. but ill post a pic of the engine

You need a resistor box,its wiring and the injector plugs plus the B-16 stuff:

ok so i didnt know wtf that meant... so it is fuel injected, my problems are solved lmao, thx

but speaking of b16a1's, what is the maximum price i should pay for that engine, not including labor fees?
