Default Need opinion on EK

Want to buy a EK hatch with out motor and no mods but I dont want to get riped. I need to know what something like that is worth. A friend is saying it is worth about 3000 for about a 97 and 4000 for a 99 but that is with out a motor. Is he right.

Screw that. I'd pay that for a good one with a motor. Check edmunds.com and subtract the price of the motor.

Yeah, that's about what they're worth with motors. I would say $2k or less for one without a motor.

i dont know about that. EK hatches arent that cheap, atleast where i live. say you spend 1500 on the car and 500 for a motor, thats only 2000 for a car. then u could probably sell it for double of what you paid, doesnt sound right unless it is salvaged and has a bad body.
