First off i have a 1997 accord lx. I heard that this was one of the easist swaps ever and its for damn sure one of the hardest wiring projects i've ever had. I'm attempting to put in a JDM H22a. Everything on the motor is hooked up ie. hoses, lines, etc. The problem is i can't get CEL codes and the distributor is turning but not sparking.

I'm lost if there is one person on here that can point me to a site that has a step by step walkthrough for wiring this pile it would greatly appreciate it.

 

are you positive the distributor is good...my swap came with a bad distributor...as for no cel's, i dunno...

 

Well you state that you have a '97 accord which OBDII, what year is the H22A engine? Your CEL's can be from sensors not hooked up correctly.

 

The H22a is obd1 so i have the adaptor and for the distributor it turns like its supposed to...

 

a turning distributor doesn't necessarily mean that the distributor is good...

 

My swap had a bad dizzy also. No harm in replacing it.
