Boring new holes in rims
I am wondering if it is possible to create a slightly larger hole pattern in some Buddy Clup P1 rims (to 5x112) to fit a VW. It looks as if the inner rim has room to make more holes but would this affect rigidity? Taking a look at say a Rota Sub Zero, it has almost the entire centre bored out around the lug holes, so maybe it is possible....
What you guys think????

i think that would make the rim more susceptible to cracking in the future since the wheel has been modified, in other words just buy wheels that already fit the car.
I am lame for trying to incorporate light weight rims to my euro instead of a) $4000 HRE's, etc or b) heavy ***, shitty quality BSA's etc. ???? Post a smart thought next time you butt puppet
thanks to the others who replied...i agree the chance of cracking the wheel would increase ....I once sold a set of 4X100 rims to a dude with an older VW ...i wonder if there is a hub adaptor I could use???
