Hey guys, here's the situation...

Back on Sunday I went over to a friends house and bought his Skunk2 Coil-Overs and tokico blue struts. He installed them for me and everything. $200 for everything, good buy, anyways, heres the problem...

I've been getting used to being 2-3 inches lower, and having to slow way down for bumps and stuff, but sometimes I hear this horrible creaking from the right-rear corner.

Now, my car was in an accident and restored a few months before I bought it. It was hit in the rear, but apparently the frame wasn't touched, but I thought I would bring it up.

I guess my main question is if anyone else has run into a similar situation. I'm just worried that having a stiffer suspension setup is going to **** with my frame or something. Maybe the actual coilover/strut is creaking? does that happen?

Any ideas or recommendations or what to look over/check on would be helpful.

Cliffs: - Right-Rear corner of my EK is creaking after new suspension was installed, concerned about structure integrity, or whether its a common problem.

 

My EG did the same thing. After the Skunk2 strut bars, it didn't do it anymore.

 

That would suggest that it is indeed my frame creaking.... anyone else?

mine does the same thing when coming down my driveway but its done this through tockio blues and now on my illumina,skunk 2 and prothane bushings so i dont know but a quick bump

mine too, when it goes to a steep driveway, i think its just the frame or something being stretch, because the car sitting low. but i dont have skunk2 nor tokico's

 

There was talk about the bushings not being adjusted correctly for the drop, any others have any comments on this idea?
