We have a '99 EX sedan with 71k. It has teh stock windsheild in it. (Still says HONDA, no Ins. company or individual springs for factory glass) A 1" section of the upper windshield molding is poped up, right in the middle of the roof. I can kind of fold it back down but it still is higher than before. Anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it?

 

I have no molding on my windshield. You can always take it to a glass place & see if they'll fix it for ya.

 

Every glass shop I have been to was a BUTCHER SHOP> Guys don't know what they are doing cut into molding and get adhesive everywhere!! NO THANKS!! Want to fix this myself!

 

Ah, I gotchya. Have you asked if you could buy some molding from one of the glass shops?

 

mine was like that on the rear. they put some adhesive in there and taped it down. told me to leave the tape on there for 24 hours.

I did that and it was perfect.
