i was thinking about getting the new rebel xt with the 8.0 megapixel

it will run me about 1200 with some extras from a camera shop down here..

any opinions on the camera? any other one better? etc

I'm definitely not an expert, but the XT is a fine entry level DSLR. Its the one I would buy if I was in the market for a DSLR.

 

i have a digital rebel eos 6.3 and i luv it!

 

my friend is a newbie just bearly getting into it like i am and he has that camera and pics are comming out amazing he said he is learning a hell of alot from it also..

 

its so hard to recommend cameras nowadays
pretty much anything you get at that price is going to be good
just make sure its actually worth buying
nothing worse then a $1,000 paper weight

i kinda want a larger amount of megapixel and somthing i could have for awhile i dont plan on getting a new camera anytime soon after getting this one
