Default 215/50/16 on 43 offset wheel. Rub or no rub?

search only brought up 45 profile question and most people said it would be fine. how about 50 profile? you guys think it would rub, or be ok? my car is lowered, but only slightly.

Why would you want that size anyway?

I don't see why it would rub, the 50 series will just have a slightly higher sidewall (not wider).

buying a set of used ce28n's that have that size already mounted on them. i'm wondering if i can drive them as is until i wear them out, or if i need to dismount and get new tires immediately.

wouldn't the slightly taller sidewall make it more prone to rub on the inner fender well when making turns? iono, anyone else have any experience?

If it only rubs on the inner fender, you're fine. That only occurs at full lock which is at very slow speeds, is preventable, and doesn't cause any permanent damage to the tires or car other than removing a little undercoating.
