kyb struts
i have h&r sport springs(not installed yet) and i want to by struts becuase my stock ones have alot of mines on them( not blown though). i want he agx struts for the track but id go once a year. so i was thinking of the gr2's... its $100 cheaper on ebay. its a 93 four door accord.. let me know... i did search. all i wan to know is how the ride is. i like hte adjustablility of the agx. will i beable to play hard on the gr2s but still be comfortable for regualr driving
The gr2's are a near oem replacement so your best bet is to spend the extra money and go with an adjustable shock; for the track adjust the setting and when you're DD adjust it again...they are really easy to adjust and the ride is great

Yo I have KYB Gr2 Struts on my 99 accord and they are great. I just installed them about a month ago. Thats a good choice to go with and you looked on ebay thats where I went and they were brand new. Check out a company called KumaraMotorsports I belive. They will have a WRX on thier site if you cross them.
on the front, setting 1 is basically close to stock...2 is a little stiffer and then 3 and 4 are getting crazy...the kyb's can definitely take some abuse, as long as your springs don't drop it more than 2.5"...that's the only thing that can really cause the shocks to prematurely blow...
dude..... ok, i have Kyb AGX'x and im dropped 3.5''... not to say its the right thing to do, but a word from experiance (counting well over 4 years) go with the kyb's... i was sceptical about the adjustability myself, i used to use hp's but what i can tell u is DEFINATLY go with the kyb's the ride is ecceptionaly well, and contrary to what the manufactuars warn, they willnot blow regardless of how low u drop your car (its a warrenty protectiong thing for them)... and as far as them being "cheapened" by the adjustability... dont get discuraged, pic a setting u like, and forget about them, the N2 gas catridge is actull made more durable spicificaly for that reason!!!

Actually they will wear out faster if you have the car lowered excessively. Mine is lowered around 2.5" in the front and 2-2.25" in the rear. I've had them for over 2 years now and I've put about 70K on them. The rear's need to be replaced though the front's are still good. I will agree the ride quality with the AGX's is very good considering how much the car is lowered.
agx's are great (whats on my car), but their adjustablilty range is not very large...the differences between the dampening levels is not alot......
