yea i got a 2001 type r i was wondering because greddy does not offer the exhaust for the type r which exhaust would fit the type r someone told me to get ls and someone else told me to get the gsr exhaust let me know what u guys know

this is what one guy wrote to me
Greddy doesn't make an exhaust for the type r.....but the ls/rs/gs evo II is
the best fitment. It will bolt right on, sometimes(I don't know why its not
all the time)but sometimes, you have to remove the heat shield from the
shifter. Either way, that is the evo II that will fit. Yes we have one in stock.

94-01 LS/GS/RS/SE will bolt right up and so will 00-01 GSR.

 

Yes, it will bolt right up. I had one on my R. The system is VERY HIGH QUALITY !! I swapped it only because I wanted to go full 2.5" and the fact that the EVO is very loud. I posted a comparison thread with some pics. Let me see if I can find it.
