Looks good! My next NSX is going to be black or Monaco Blue. My pops wanted to get a black/black one. He got a Cobra replica instead.

I use to love Zaino. Looks good, easy, and quick to apply. Went back to Groit's b/c the Zaino guy was a pot-head. Have you tried another wax at all?

No I got addicted to Zaino. I have used different waxes before I tried Zaino and I think I'm sold on Zaino.

I forget what color exactly I think its Monte Carlo Blue Pearl that I like. I painted one of my jet skis this color. It looked really good just wasn't the safest thing in the world. The blue color blended in with the water. It was difficult to see me The paint for that color is spendy.

The Blue colored NSX are my favorite. Just not being able to easily rebuild one has me torn on buying one. I know you can resleave them if need be, it just seems like a lot of extra work.

The rims are what Honda_tech members helped me pick out. I took them apart and had them powder coated. I kinda wish I would have gone with a darker gray. I tried to match the factory paint.

You stopped using a particular wax because your Zaino guy was a pot head? Am I missing something?

Hey Rastafarian, me no smoka the Jamaican Finger Hash. Besides, it's difficult to buy car wax products when the guy hands you Spray-N-Wash instead of a bottle of Zaino stuff.

Do you not buy your Zaino directly from the manufacturer?

Nah, pothead is a block away and Groits was just easier to deal with at that point. I think Sal needs to be a bit more discriminatory with who he has distributing.

No I do all the work on the car myself. I would be surprised if a shop was able to get these wheels as they were discontinued some time ago. Racing Hart M5's

http://www.griotsgarage.com/index.jsp

you can do a lot better, really overpriced, and their polishes and waxes are average at best.

edit: get the zaino z2pro, zfx or z1, and some z6 spray. polish if necessary with something like menzerna fpII or sonus sfx-2 before applying zaino, and clay too if you have the time.

Overpriced? Yes. Average at best? I beg to differ - though wax and polish seems to be a little subjective. Griot's Garage products routinely win Pebble Beach concours and some of the most prestigious car shows in the world.

And the link is correct.

i've got to admit M5's were, and still are, nice. i just think the car would look alot better with some h.r.e's or i-forge's. bottom line is its his car and if he likes it then thats all that matters.

ERZ motors and eBay may have that C30 you're looking for. Nothing on eBay right now but most of the time they're on there.
