Car stalls and CEL 3 after car wash...
My car has been driving great as of lately, no problems at all. Today I went to wash my car at work as always (pulling in semi quick to miss the underbody flush with my air intake). and then shut my car off.
I go to drive my car out of the wash bay and it would start, but as soon as the rpm go down, the car stalls. I let me car dry off for a couple of hours (4ish), and try it again to no avail, it still stalls.
The comes time to go to class, so I had to take my car ( it is only 2 miles max). As I round the corner my car bogs heavily, the CEL pops up, I hear a louder swish(almost like when I turn the car off), and the car then stalls. When this happened, the vaccuum lines came off of my fuel pressure regulator, and also one of the two nips on the drivers side of the intake manifold.
So I can't get my car to idle properly, although it does smooth out as the rpm get higher. Otherwise the car bogs and runs like it is firing off of 3 cylinders. I also checked my plugs and they were absolutely charred black... obviously running rich.
What the hell happened? Let me know if there is anything that I should try... Thanks guys

sounds like when I got water in the groove on your valve cover where the spark plug wires are. Those wire boots dont seal too good, and the plug the the drivers side is lower and water tends to collect up there, and get down in. Hopefully in your case not too much since you pulled plugs, but I've found any moisture makes mine a pain in the @$$. I just used q-tips and a pair of needlenose pliers to dry mine out...fine after that.

thanks for the input, but I don't think that this is the problem as I looked with a flash light and saw next to nothing as far as moisture...
Anyone else have any ideas? I really appreciate all the help and suggestions...
