JDM ITR Recaro seat owners......
I am interested in knowing the typical wear pattern of the JDM Recaro's. I have someone offering to sell me their seats and they dont have a digicam, all they said was the seats have "typical wear" So if you guys could give me an idea of:
How does the alacantra material hold up?
Does the material wrinkle like the USDM seats?
Does the left side bolster show signs of wear first?
Any other info about your seat (year, color) would be great along with pics.
much thx

The alcantara holds up fairly well.
The side material of the drivers seat does wrinkle.
The side bolster where the seatbelt rubs does wear, and starts to get a shiny appearance. I try to make sure that my seatbelt doesn't fold or twist at all, as this accelerates the wearing.
Sorry, no pictures.

I also have a Q. Is there anyone out there that will just sell a driver seat? 1600 is just too much for 2 seats. I'm selfish like that.
As far as how they wear, Same as the US seats
yes the bolsters wrinkle. i've tried throwing a large towel over the bottom half of the seat so i don't make it any worse but getting in and out has now because a bit of a chore... wish i didn't have such a big fat ***

The problem is when you step out of the car every time. It's difficult not to rub at the side bolsters when you get out.....
