Anyone know about brake pads for a 00 EX?
I need a picture of what the brake pads should look like for my civic, I bought some and I want to make sure they're right before I start the job... Last time I changed them They gave me the wrong pads (at advance auto parts) and they kept saying they were right. I finally got the right ones (from o'riley's auto parts)... Now I have some Axxis ultimates, I just want to see if their the right ones.
If it's easier, they say D 1831 RU on the box....
Thanks a lot!

When you take off the old pads match them up to the new ones. I just did brakes last weekend on my 98 eX and they gave me the wrong pads even though I specified what make/model/trim I had.
THere used to be 2 castings marked on teh caliper. not sure if that applies you your year.

That's why I was trying to find out before I do it, because I'm on a military base, and the only way to do it is rent a bay and pay for lift time, so if they don't fit, it'll be a waste of time and money.... can anyone take a pic of some old ones they took off or anything?
why dont u just change ur brakes with the tire jack... its like a 15 min job... i mean those look about right... but still use a tire jack and you should be cool
