Default 1991 Teg - Hydro Conversion possible???

I've got a customer bringing me a 91 teg. Its a turbo'd B18B1 and keeps busting trannies. He'd like to get a more recent gearbox from an ITR or GSR but those are of course hydro clutches. There doesn't seem to be a lot of room on the firewall for a slave cylinder. I'm just wondering if people have ever converted one of these to run a hydro tranny?

Hasport has a cable to hydro conversion kit but i've heard mixed reviews on it .... another option i've seen people do is stick the hydro internals in 92-93 integra cable cases it will fit(might need some minor modification if has lsd) has to be a 92-93 case, 90-91 cases are different.

Before posting I did do some searches and found the thread where a guy from hasport said they were coming out with a kit. I looked at their website but wasn't able to find anything. Physically I think there may not be any place to put a slave cylinder. Of course with unlimited time and money anything can be done...

Read this how-to, courtesy of Armed Ferret.

You said the customer is using a B18B (not the stock B18A), so he is using the original 91 cable tranny with it?

Thanks for the link. I just checked and in fact it's a B18A1.
