Well for one of my classes, I have to make an Art project.. It can be anything I want, so I figured I would make a sculpture of old engine and car parts. I have a blown LS engine and some other misc stuff laying around, and I am going to just throw some parts together and make a weird, abstract sculpture. You guys have any ideas to contribute to this crazy idea? Can I weld engine parts together, like weld a cam shaft to a brake rotor? Make a dog or something out of a crank and use the 4 pistons as legs etc.

 

Looks fun. Coffee table is my choice.

 

Use the whole block and make finger-like protrusions, and call it the "Iron Fist." Your art teacher WILL love it.

I'd take the entire rotating assembly from the flywheel through the crank pulley (minus pistons and rods) and make a lamp out of it. No welding involved and it looks dope.
