I know it's from a 96-00 civic. But does anyone know what country??? Trim of the car??

I dont think that's it.

Canada's 96-00 Si is the equivalent of the 96-00 EX and that has a SOHC motor which doesnt redline @ 8200.

Then they have the SIR which is the equivalent of the USDM 99-00 Si with the DOHC motor, but that cluster redlines at 8000, has SIR stamped on the bottom of the speedometer and the needles are red/amber.

I think overseas they have either a Si or Ex that redlines at 8200. I am not sure on the model, but I think it's from europe or somewhere over there.

 

strange. i've never seen a cluster go farther than 180ish KMH. maybe custom done?

also the canadian cluster would have Mph on the inside, that one only has kph.

 

Is that a m@d tyt3 JDM cluster by chance, thus the absence of MPH markings, or possibly EDM?

I really dont care what DM it is... Just seems really rare and I'm wondering what car it came out of.

 

No, I realize that, just based on it not having the MPH markings, my guess would be either JDM or European market. Where did you come across it? Its got the 8200 redline, so its likely got a b16/18 stock in whatever it came out of, so its going to be the foreign counterpart likely for the US- Si and the Canadian Si-R.

 

I am guessing from Europe, or other parts of Asia (i.e. Taiwan, HK)

I came across it on ebay, but it just said EK SIR Cluster, and location for the auction said worldwide so I have no idea.

My stock Dx hatchie came with a speedo that goes to 220KM/hish. Pretty standard stuff .

looks like its out of an australian civic VTIR, i would think euro cars have both mph/km/h.

Here we only have km/hr

 

i saw this b4 in hong kong! is off from a ek5 Special edition (4 door)the year b4 ek9 came out! also using b16b engine! there arn't many of them! i think they only make 2000 of them!

I did find a Ferio that came out september of 1995 in europe. Looks just like a 1996-1998 SIR Civic HB (same bumpers, headlights), and the B16B redlines @ 8200 rpms so that could be it. I think you nailed it a6x86.

yes very rare! and i search the japan and hong kong's book! i will scan it sometime! telling that is a 97 special edition civic 4 door! i am a civic cluster collector! i don't even have that one!! haha!! i guess that the only one i am missing!! hey do u have any 05 cluster wire dirgram? i just got a 05 cluster it fit perfect in a ek! i only need a wire diragram! pls if u have time help me look for it

 

hehe is not japan at all!! japan only have 180km max! but hong kong made one had 220 km also without mile!

actually I take that back ... the ek4 does redline at 8200 but has red needles ...
