All we sell at safedrives.com is auto safety products.
As you can imagine, we did alot of research to make sure that we sold only the best roll bar padding. We found that the folks at BSCI pioneered and fought for new roll bar padding standards at the SFI and FIA in the late 1990s.
The padding that BSCI produces is SFI and/or FIA certified. It also meets the strict Federal Motor Vehicle Saftey standards for head impact protection in an automobile(FMVSS 206.u and 302). The only pad that we know of meeting this standard.
Which style is best for you?
FIA:
For street driven vehicles we really try to steer our customers to the FIA certified pad. It's thicker and as such will absorb more energy in an impact. It is sold in a three foot length for $20.95

SFI:
The SFI certified pad is made from the same material as the FIA pad. As such it carries the same FMVSS as the FIA pad. It is not as thick as the FIA pad though. Since it has less material the cost is less as well as the weight. The same three foot length is $18.95.

Charles, I ordered some of the FIA padding from you last month. Just wanted to say thanks for the prompt service. Was interested to see how you packed padding for shipping. Though rearward visibility is a little worse now, it's more comforting to not have that blunt weapon right behind my head unprotected.
And no, he's not paying me for saying this, but it sure would be nice!
