1 & 2 are for your heater core...
3 & 4 is from the charcole can which we can see...the bigger hose goes to a sensor in the back of the IM and the smaller hose goes to the nipple on the TB
(please correct me if im wrong)

Should be noted that by "bigger" you meant longer. The hose that is actually "bigger" in diameter is the one that goes to the nipple on the top of the TB. Also, you might want to point out that he may not have the nipple on the top of the TB if he gets an OBD-2 swap.

Hey, I see 2 nipple on the TB? (transmission block) next to the starter, but they are connected to each other, does that mean I need to pull it off and connect them separately? not clear what 'IM' stands for. thanks
Also, I have looked everywhere for where both the heater hose should be conncected, I don't see any opening that would take it. confused? sorry
For the heater hoses one should go to an opening on the side ofthe head (side passenger side), and the other hose should go the opening on the intake manifold flange.

No, TB means "Throttle Body" and IM meand "Intake Manifold".
