Default Fuel Pressure Gauge

I'm looking to create my own budget fuel pressure gauge.

I don't want to spend $50 on a $5 gauge and a special banjo that allows for an adaptor. I can get the gauge for $10 or so.

How can I make my own banjo bolt or can I find some kind of fitting at home depot or other specialized stores?

Thanks!

My friend made a fuel pressure guage that uses a shrader valve. He got a banjo bolt that was drilled and tapped with a fitting so he can just check it by putting the guage on it. Pretty slick.

I will try to get pics/info for ya

hey thanks... that'd be awesome... i just can't see myself spending 50 bucks on a B&M gauge which besides the $5 or less gauge has the special banjo bolt and gauge adaptor included which shouldn't cost more than a few bucks... i'm no ricer so I don't care how the gauge looks.. it will be permanently installed under the hood anyway... having said that, any info and pictures are very welcome and greatly appreciated!

thanks!

Nice! Like checking your tire pressure but easier.

They're worth much less than 15 anyways... but yeah.

If someone wants to sell theirs $15 shipped ready to be installed, I'll take it.

I got pics of it, I just don't have them uploaded here at work. I will get them to you tonight.

Basically its a shrader valve off a Ford Fuel injection unit added to a banjo bolt off a mitsu that was drilled and tapped for the valve. I will get you pics ASAP.
