Prolly an ISO of 200. Manual focus, with 18-55 kit lense. All pics with Tripod.

Prolly the same. Longer exposure, I'd wager offhand.

ISO = 100, Manual focus, kit lense. Prolly a 5.6 f/stop.

Quick snap at the autoshow. No tripod here. ISO was 100, manual mode autofocus, obviously a very quick exposure, prolly like 0.3ish, maybe less.

Best way to figure out your camera is to play around and experiment with it. You won't learn much from people tellign you what THEY did. You've gotta figure it out for yourself.

leave your iso at 100 if possible... i leave my stuff in "p"... use the partial metering mode to get the right light readings... when in the partial-metering mode, focus your subject and halfclick the shutter button, get the readings and hit the asterisk button to save your settings, then shoot. it helps out a lot. i just got my xt less than a month ago:

oh hey yeah... i just discovered shooting in RAW mode... that is the greatest thing ever. it takes up a bunch of space on the compact flash but it is definitely worth it. basically it makes it so u can adjust exposure on the computer so in the end, u always get near perfect exposures on pictures u thought were effed. it's a very good tool.
