i tried to make them work all night and it just pushes the rear of the window up and jams it. i changed the rails (and lubed them) and its not catching on anything. any ideas of the problem or if it is possible at all?

Without knowing exactly what you have done, it sounds like you haven't got the horizontal track that mounts to the inner door panel installed correctly. Or that the linkage isn't hooked to it.

i used the small and large track from my manual windows on the electric motor and X-shaped piece. i then installed it just as it had been and it works. the only problem is that when the window gets about 1/3 or 1/2 the way up, the front of it binds and the back part gets pushed up higher than the front, and then it jams and won't move unless you free it by hand. its almost as if the window isn't getting pushed up evenly. i'll try to take pictures of it tonight, if i get time after work.
