Default b16 tranny , b16 head and b20 block how much power does it make

I was wondering how much power does a b20 block wit a b16 tranny and b16 head give in whp. I have a stock 99si b16a2 I wanna change the block to make more power to at least 180 whp and up, is it possible to achieve it by just changing the block with a b20,b20z, b18c1, b18c5, b18a1, b18b1, h22a. which one of these block will make the most power increase in my si.

that will help so your compression ratio isnt thru the roof

ive heard the B18 think C5 with b16 head is a good setup

If I were you and you were looking for a decent N/A setup Id get a gsr block and throw some ctr pistons in it, with your b16 head and some decent cams you'd probably be happy.

can u guys give me a statement on how much whp it will make if i change my block to a b18c5 with the b16 head? and is running a b16 tranny with a gsr block any good... (im new to this i know very little about engine swapping) and what do you guys think about the b20 with the b16 head ? how many whp and torque do u think it'll make. I dont need the precise whp just what you have done , experience, and seen what other have.

What's up there. 210whp is my guess. Try this---- http://www.c-speedracing.com/integra.php That should help you out a lot. It's been sitting in my favorites for a while.

Stock with no bolt ons, type r cams and valve train, untuned, by friends only pushed out 150! After a couple of runs on the dyno, they got it to 194.

i dont think a b20 with stock b16 tranny and b16 head power up to 210 whp..... hopefully it does though if i do decided to change to it. But which one of these B series motor is best for a stock si with skunk 2 cam gears (stock shaft) when changing the b16a2 block... i want to run the car stock piston... but wanting to make at least 190 and up in whp by just changing the block and maybe a little add on to it but nothing major.... 190whp i think its hard to achieve with a budget of less than 700 dollars on changing the block alone...

You cant make an estimate on something like that, If I had to pick it would the c5 because you dont have to change piston to get decent compression, unlike the gsr block which will lower the compression way lower the 10.0.1 the factory gsr brings, the reason is because of the pistons and the head b16/typer casting combustion-chamber is bigger than the gsr's.Keep the b16 tranny is the same as the american ITR with the 4.4 but the ITR is (lsd)...but when you do things do them right the 1st time so you wont be dissapointed with the results.

itr blocks aren't cheap....although they require NO modification to fit a b16 head b/c they are both pr3 heads....the ITR head has a factory port job, dual valve springs on both the intake and exhaust side and better cams, other than that they are the same....its the same casting.
I would say go with a b18b and some p30 (b16) pistons, arp rod bolts and a vtec water pump and obviously a vtec oil feed line and you will be close to your goal and won't break the bank.
