Default hydraulic or manual tensioner on h22a1???

I have recently attempted to install a manual tensioner on my h22a1 motor. Honda Tuning says that any h23 manual tensioner should bolt right up but I can't seem to find where the "slide lock" bolt goes. Another problem is what should I do with my balancer shaft belt, I have heard of people taking them off and not using them at all, how do I make this possible..............

put down honda tuning and search the archives, you'll get better info for your "slide lock" problem (I don't know the names of all the tiny parts for that conversion). I know there is a write up with pics if you search. As far as the balance shafts, you can put the belt on them and use them, you can leave the belt off and just let them sit there, or you can take them out and plug the oil feed lines. The third option is the hardest, and I would recommend one of the first two.

I think this is what IHateJDM is talking about:
