Default DC Riders - Trip out to Summit Point this Sunday 4/24

I was thinking about taking a ride out to Summit to catch some of the guys running the Jefferson Circuit this Sunday. Is anyone interested in tagging along? Ride is two lane divided highway all the way out Route 7 so it's pretty non-eventful. We can meet up in Leesburg around noon (?) and head out there if anyone's down.

(I'm looking in your directions Russ and Brian.)

I think a friend is moving up here this weekend with his 600RR, and he wanted to go riding as soon as he got up here. So basically, we may be interested.

I'm flexible really. It's more up to you guys since I'm the closest one. We could all meet up at my house and then go from there. Only thing I ask is that I be able to sleep in, which is about 10 am. If you guys wanted to show up around noon we could be there in time for the afternoon sessions.

Where's the Skillet? You in Skillet?

Man, if it were Saturday I'd be down like brown rice. I should ask Henrieta if he wants to head out there.

I'd prefer to get out there no later than noon and head back home around 3 or so. I have some things to do in the evening.

If we meet up at 11 that shouldn't be a problem. I think they're on lunch from noon until 1 though and I'd rather not watch them sit around.

Lunch is the most exciting part! I have to leave Ashburn to head back to McLean no later than 5, so I don't want to get stuck out there too late.

There by 12:30, gone by 3:30. To be honest I can't see myself staying there even that long.

That's the $50 million question. Well, at least the $1500 question. I think imma rock the dSLR and just pray I don't go down. Actually, I think I may read my insurance policy when I get home to see if it covers carried items. I know that Homeowners policies usually cover things that are lost/damaged/stolen in your car that isn't part of the car itself but not sure if or how it translates to bikes.

I'm more worried about the 30% chance of rain than the temp. Russ thinks I'm crazy but you found out last night why I refuse to ride in anything much over 80°. big guy + big jacket = too effin hot
