Default SH cat back on SE

Does it fit without alot of modifications? I have heard it has to be shortended a bit to fit on, is that it, or would it all bolt on but just look funny?

I tried doing a search but nothing was really showing up about this subject

Define SE.. The sh catbacks are shorter than the base models. you would need some type of extention if this is what your talking about.

SE= Canadian model not sold in the US. However I think all 97-01 exhausts are the same behind the catalytic converter. Correct me if i'm wrong.

ummm dont murder me if im wrong but i think the exhausts are different on different models...ie the rsr exhaust doesnt fit the sh models...only the base models...i think it's cuz the piping has to go around the atts unit....again dont kill me if im wrong :'(...as for the se model im not sure about that...im not even sure if it has atts....i dont think so but im not sure...canada...droolz leather seats lol

hmm interesting, someone told me SH would be longer and I need to shorten it, now Im getting conflicting reports.

SE = Canadian base I assume.

It does not have the ATTS unit, unlike the SH up here, so I guess I should just say prelude base vs SH with ATTS

thanks/

OK I misunderstood the question, any cat back exhaust system WITH atts is about 3.5 in shorter than any model without atts. However the piping diameter is the same.

I'm pretty sure that SE(Special Edition) was a 95 only model

S SR and SR-V are the Canadian models(atleast in 95)

The SE was offered in the 97-01 gen aswell.

As far as the pipe being around 3.5" shorter, would it still fit on an SE? meaning the hangers are in the same spot, or would they need to be moved as well. Im basically wondering if its worth it to buy an SH setup really cheap if it can fit on my SE

NM I keep referring to mine as an SE but they only offered the SE for 2001, so I guess I should be saying base instead

But the SE was canada exclusive, I think it took over the SH in 2001
