Possible Transmission Problem ( Photos Inside ) Need Opinions on what to do ?
Just doing some routine maintance (rotating the tires) and happened to look up under the car at the transmission. (See Photos) Im not to experienced in auto mechanics so any thoughts on what i need to do would be appreciated. What appears to be going on and what steps should I take regarding this?
Notes: When driving I dont notice anything out of the normal when shifting. Under the car fluid is fresh, and im not sure how long this has been going on.

Most every honda I have ever seen leaks there...
It is usually a very minor leak...
It is really not a big problem if you keep oil in the transmission..
I bought some of this:
http://www.permatex.com/auto/a...82096
For that very purpose But I have not tried it yet..
PS..There is really not much of a seal there..
It is two machined case-halfs with a sealant in-between..

that is a relief ! im trying to figure out where the oil filler bolt is to check the fluid level. if its low is it difficult to get under there and add fluid. again, i dont have much experience. better yet is there a faq section with photos on how to check transmission fluid and add fluid, looked around under there and see several bolts.
will take better photo
thanks again

Or you can also add through the speed sensor if removed:

Or there is a bolt under the starter you can add fluid
through if you remove the starter..I use the plug in the first pic..
