Just like the post says. And if you could give reasons and/or pro's and con's (if any). I know that with either one I can't go too wrong but I'd like to get some feedback from H-T members .

i am extremely satisfied with my kteller 3in w/ magnaflow muffler. excellent tone while driving and quiet when you a just cruising. and it looks relatively stock.

my vote goes to kteller

How does that help at all? He is making his own decision by what other people think. (Probally should have searched though).

I have a kteller and love it. It will save you a bunch of cash too.

My kteller is ******* loud! I have 2.5 in. dp, test pipe, and 3 in. exhaust with 14 in. resonator and magnaflow muffler. Cruising up to 3k is just deafening.

i'm saying that they're similar... some have their pros, some have their cons, ultimately, it's the buyer's opinion... there's nothing much to compare about.

well, maybe he hasnt heard either one and wants our opinions on each to 'help' him come up with his own decision.

never tried the kteller, as for thermal..

its a nice tone, deep, but when you cruise on the highway, it drones you out.
quality is real nice, no fitment issues.

I have the bolt on 3 inch kteller kit...
the kit itself is pretty decent, sounds decent with resonators inline.

I wish I could have gotten the muffler without a tip (i'm not a fan of shiny mufflers with 4 inch tips)

i had no resonator at first, and was annoyed how loud it was!
the resonators help lower the noise a tad, but really helps with the tone of the exhaust....
im still looking to quiet it down more, and any suggestions on a quiet muffler would be great!

I love a-holes on H-T.
If you don't have anything to contribute, go look at another post instead of checking in on this one every 1/2 hour . Besides this is a FI area and not a newbie"hey what CAI will give me the most hp" post. Besides, your the only one who has put in their weak .02. Get lost!

Thanks to the others who have posted; It really helps !

At any rate, I know that the Thermal 3" comes with a resonator and the KTeller has the option of adding a 14" SS one. I know that I definatly want one. Will this help to keep it quieter and throatier? Is anyone out there running the Kteller w/o the resonator? Is it just louder?

I love my thermal. Straight through with a small resonator. Nice deep throaty sound.

I'll probably be upgrading to a KTeller in the future. I'm a DIY'er kinda guy. Plus I'm a broke *** college student. Otherwise I may be tempted by the Thermal. My brother has a Thermal on his Talon, and I swear the thing is a work of art. It's beautiful.

I would have went DIY also but I found this thermal actually on honda-tech with only about 500 miles on it and got it for 350 shipped so I couldn't pass it up

I run the 3" SS Thermal on my turbo B16, no resonator, just a muffler with a removable silencer cone. I love this exhaust, great quality, perfect fitment, and it looks beautiful. It's not loud at all, even with the silencer cone removed, and the tone is really deep. I haven't tried the Kteller exhaust, but I'd buy another exhaust from TR without any hesitation.

Not really an opinion but you should really consider what turbo you have I think smaller turbo's cut down on noise (more restrictive) and larger turbo's cut up the exhaust note more (at idle) and are louder but deeper.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

kteller also has its pluses an minus...
you can get the piping kit alone and pick your own muffler for the end
but then i've heard people have slight fitment issues with the exhaust

Loud is a relative term, so the best way to compare would be to get rides in cars that have the exhausts you are talking about.

My buddy had turbo Civic with a 3" Thermal exhaust. That thing was ridiculously loud until he had a Borla resonator welded in. I say ridiculous meaning that the exhaust made it hard to talk to one another when cruising. The Borla resonator made a huge difference there.

I have the Kteller 2.5" kit from a few years ago. It is loud, but not as loud as the 3" Thermal kit with no resonator.

I think both are good...it's a matter of preference. I chose Kteller because an off the shelf 2.5" exhaust does not exist for the 1G CRX.

3" thermal and 3" kteller sound really similar. They are almost the same exhaust anyways hehe.

I have 3" kteller right now... and I used to have a 3" thermal. I was happy with both. You can't go wrong.

Thermal is less headache, kteller is cheaper. you pick.
