crane cam question for d16a6...
ok i'll make this simple.
crane recommends that i use fresh valve springs for their cam that supposedly makes power out to 7500 rpm. can i really use stock valve springs to go out that far? how much rpm can the stock valve springs handle?
how do i break in the new cam? i've heard some things thrown around but i'd like to get a deff answer.
i'm going to end up doing the cam first and then intake header and exhaust (just 'cause i'm different). what i'm wondering is what should i do for fuel enrichment when i get the cam installed? rr fpr? fuel rail? higher volume fuel pump? thanks a ton. peace...

I think the reason they say new OEM one's is because I have not really heard of anyone making upgraded replacements .....
If you have an Si (and not an Si swap into another EF style hatch), you may be okay with the stock fuel pump. If not, then you will definitely upgrade the fuel pump, and put on an adj. f.p.r. to tune it. Or the fuel pump and an S-AFC for more precise adjustment.
