axles kind of rattly - is this an issue?

axles kind of rattly - is this an issue?

When I go under my car and grab the axles, they sort of wiggle in their position. I can drive around just fine with them, but I'm wondering... are my axles supposed to wiggle? Both of them do it.

They do move back and forth a bit, experience pretty much dictates what is normal or excessive.

wat do you mean wiggle... as you mean loose (not totally in your tranny?) or wat..

they normally have some play in them, and some are worse than others. as long as they're not making any noise or anything, just drive on them.
