Default Guys with SOHC VTEC in an EF

Hey guys, I recently installed a A/F gauge in my car and I've noticed that I'm running pretty rich at WOT. And even more rich when in VTEC. Right now I'm running about 43psi. What have you guys done to help correct this?? Also I do have a FPR, but when I lower the pressure I seem to run lean and my CEL comes on and gives my code# 1 (oxygen content/sensor). If push comes to shove I'm going to have to get that ZDyne 1-wire vtec conversion and have them make my Si ecu into a SOHC VTEC ecu.
Thanks for your help in advance.
