Your going to get alot of mixed opinions on this topic for example its to heavy, HP not worth the extra wieght etc. . . Theres alot of myths in h22 swaps and truths so I say just do what you like, also look to spend a good amount of $$$. Good Luck

I think you answered your question on if it could be or would be a sleeper

ummmm, yah. that would make a great sleeper. Besides the extra weight and the mount kit you gotta buy, that motor should be well worth it, and the potential is great. I rather the B series myself though, but good choice in motor.

aight how about this a 93 integra ls and a B18C G2 out of a JDM '97-01 Integra GS-R swap with the gsr tranny and everything so its the complete swap??? i think that would dominate pretty well

here we go again..... FACTS use FACTS! Its like an extra 30 pounds total. If you had a carbon fiber hood and took a **** before you went driving youd probably be lighter than a b series.

i got an h22a in my integra with a type S head. Real fast...and yes its like 30 lbs heavier than a b series so dont worry about that. The H series motors are very underrated...no honda compares in torque. The type S makes 220hp with very high torque numbers...id say that its a much better choice than any B series. Now K series are another story.....

my buddy has an H22A4 in his Del So, my younger brother has a JDM H22A in his 94 accord, and so does my buddy. i honestly don't think swapping in an H22 is worth all the trouble and hassle. right this moment i've just taken out my buddy's H22A4 out of his Del So because he now wants to swap in a turbo'd B18C1. much easier to work with...the only thing that sucks is he had to cut his tranny mount off to use the hasport mounting kit(i think that's it..."yellow mounts"), so now i've got to find another mount and bracket and weld it back on.

h22 is a little more than 30lbs. its more like 50-85. as far as i know, youd have to get a mount kit and widen the hole for the shift cables. also might need custom axles but im not positive on that.

what generation teg? i hear its difficult for a DA but i havent seen solid info about that. but from the looks of a DA i could understand it. an h22 in a DC kicks *** though.

50-85 pounds?? Do you have any proof or are you just pulling numbers out of your ***?

If you searched you would have found out the difference in weight because someone already weighed a b series motor and tranny vs a H22 motor and tranny and the difference was 35 pounds NOT 85. 35 pounds will not make a difference anyways. If youre so concerned you can relocate the battery, use a lightweight batter, lighter flywheel, carbon fiber hood etc. The truth is when youre running bolt ons like header, pulleys etc youre making up the difference in weight anyways. What about B series guys with lip, fogs, alarm, tie bar etc on their cars? Oh No if you added all that crap up it would probably be near 20 pounds. Watch out, your cars going to blow up for all that extra weight on the front end.

Mounts? So what. Drilling a wider hole for shift cables? youre drilling ONE HOLE. Custom axles? nope, axles and intermediate shafts off of other hondas are not custom.
