rebuilt and hesitating...HELP!!!
I just recently got my block rebuilt with factory pistons, rods and JE rings. (I got them for free, that's why I didn't upgrade) I got a cometic head gasket which lowered my compression to 9.8:1 and got new intake and exhaust valve seals. The car's back together now and I'm driving it (gently), but at 4000rpms at 6 pounds of boost, it makes a loud sqeeking noise from under the hood, which is why I haven't pushed it. I got a new distributer as well, but it still hesitates like mad like it used to before the rebuild. I can't figure out why its hesitating and why its making that loud noise. I have hondata, but its not installed yet. I'm hooked up to a vafc2 from apexi. I was told to get it diagnosed before I install hondata. Anyone have any suggestions for why it might be doing this. Please help!
suggestion #1:
BREAK IN THE BLOCK SMART ONE!
you just ruined what could've been a 100k mi reliable turbo engine and turned it into a <50k mi turbo engine.

It is being broken in, which is why it hasn't been over 4000 rpms. I had 2 bent rods and fried rings, so a rebuild was a must smartass. It does everything I mentioned before 4000. Thanks for nothin!
if 4000rpm is breaking it in, i hope you've got a few hundred miles at a lower revolution limit first. anyways, where is the distributor from? "new"? or rebuilt, like autozone or discount or what-have-you. is it a squeak like a rotating movement, or a squeak like a reciprocating movement? basically, is it continuous or cyclical? also, about how fast is it? count how many times the noise cycles for 15 seconds and multiply by four. that would help me think.
