Camp 1320 k20 swap axles tested :)
Any ways I finally took my K20 eg out to the track. Ran on a crappy set of slicks but to my surprise the Camp 1320 axles held up great. They have been for the last 6 months that I have been running them. I have ran them on the street with 23" and they handled it fine. No vibration or breakage at all. I have used hasports and snapped them. As well as seen and heard of other k20 hatches at the track break(hasport, dss, and etc) axles with street tires. My times were pretty crappy at the track though. With a best of 13.7 at 108 on crappy tire. My 60 fts were 2.5-2.8
. It was the tire because I would roll out of the line and punch and tires would break loose from 1st to 4th. The car is a 93 si with k20a2-Kpro,rcrew header, and intake.

I agree, those 60's need some improvement. Did you try different rpm launch's? Or are you launching at the same rpm everytime?

They were actually a road race slick which my buddy and a few guys at the track pointed out. They said a wet street tire would have caught better. My buddy had the same problem with the same tires dick. Yeah I cant drive considering I use to pull 1.9 60 fts with azenis when I had this motor in my old vx with hasport axles which broke twice within a month. And read you dick I was ROLLING OFF THE LINE AND THEN AS I GAVE IT GAS IT LOST TRACTION. I think that shows how crappy the tires were. From a launch the car would burn up 1st through 4th launching anywhere from 5500 to 1500 at 5-11 psi.
I am getting some lenzos now so traction shouldnt be a problem.
The setup put down 217 through a 2.5 exhaust.

Let us know what happens with the new tires, I'm sure the Camp Axles are fine, but you can't say they are better than the Hasports/Drive Shaft Shop's when you were breaking them on Slicks pulling almost a full second faster in the 60 ft.
We use Drive Shaft Shop Axles and have only had one set (stage 1's) with Hybrid-Racing mounts break. That car was pulling 1.8's with a 7000 rpm two-step launch and really should have been using stage 2's. So like I said, let us know how the camp axles do under the same situation that you were breaking axles in before. 2.8 60ft: if your tires were spinning that much, then your axles wouldn't break if they were made of wood...lol

What stage hasport axle were you breaking? What about the ones you have seen/heard of? What stage were those?
