Well im torn between 2 ideas.
Supercharge my 01 S.
or
Do a swap in my civic.
If i supercharge my S, ill have to save for awhile, $5000 for a SC then ill need a new clutch soon thereafter. Things get really enpensive with the S, or i can just drive my S like it is( intake exhaust and coilovers)
and do a swap in my 93 civic dx. This will be a couple thousand cheaper than the SC and i can do it alot sooner.
what do u guys/girls think of the situation
thanks
nick

you'll get more speed for the $ with a swap. there used to be a supercharged s2k here in town that was slow as *****. Either he didn't do it right, or it's a waste of $ for the hp. it couldn't keep up with the 2.2L sol...

if i SC the S, its gunna be 5grand for the SC, then another grand for a nice clutch/flywheel setup... + install of the clutch/flywheel.
and once i do that, the way i drive, i push my cars alot, so ill prob end up beaking something else.
take in mind im only 18 and only make $10,000 a year at a part time job.

tell that to yourself that you only make $10,000 a year. dude, you have a S2000 and a 93 civic, and you're complaining that you make only $10k a year.
the S2000 sure could use the extra torque that it will get from a SC, but its still okay as is.
i'd rather do a simple swap to the civic, and leave it alone. that way, you'll have two satisfying cars.
btw, these threads don't belong.
