WOW is pretty much all i can keep saying to myself
as this weekend was the most up and down good/bad
type weekend that finally paid off.
First , I'm sure many can agree this weekend was pretty bad in regards to weather/wind
track conditions and broken broken cars with problems everywhere.
to me it seemed like nobody was able to get there cars to run
as good as they should out there....that is if they weren't having problems
with the car itself already.
as for us we couldn't break into the 11's even though we've done it many
times before..
first problem was the clutch slipping..
so thanks to the jerry built crew we dropped the tranny friday night
and had a new clutch in the morning thanks to tom (camp 1320).
put that thing in and finally we were getting better 60's although
11's still not there.. our new problem was not getting into second
gear due to syncros.

either way i thought the semi's was gonna be crazy against albert/ericks racing
crx (the only one hitting 11's this weekend).
I just told mike to do his thang and we'll leave it up to anything
to happen from there.... we took the exciting win at our fastest
for the weekend. 12.1 thanks to keneth hookin it up with the
special spray LOL
then the final against the bug was insane and all driving skills
by the homie mike.
the bug was running consistent 12.1's the entire weekend
but we figured he was baggin it (very cool guy though)
cuz mike launched him hard out the hole and he fell asleep and
still ran a 12.1 figured he's an 11 all day long.
either way we took the win with a 12.3 since we crossed the finish
line first and that being all that matters..

the win was awesome but i'd like to tell everyone that the big trophies
you see go to the show cars as us racers get a plaque. ahhhaa seriously!

but just wanted to make some shot outs and if i forget anyone i'm sorry.
thanks to jerry and his crew/ todd and wife, randy and jay,
zero 4 racing reppin it hard with PRO STREET IMPORT this weekend.
eugene, keneth n brenda thanks for the spray bro, props to nena for
comin all the way out with her car, and last but not least
the 562 cerritos family for comin to show love.

not to good but 1st run 13.05

2nd was 13.23

the car is bout 2300lbs w/out the driver

congrats to 562, you guys ran hard all weekend, and a great job of driving in the final round.

the bug was down on power by a good tenth or more, he was worried about even making the class cutoff at one point... but i guess a number of pro am guys broke, or couldn't make it? i thought we'd see more 11's out there... still, xlnt racing all day long, tho!
