1996 Accord Ex V6 Car Hesitates when accelerating
Hello. I have a 1996 Honda Accord Ex V6. When I drive it, it acts like it doesn't have gas...it boggs down and acts arratic as well does the tach. I brought it to Goodyear and they replaced the plugs and said my timing was off, so I fixed the timing and I am still having the same problems. I then read in My Chilton book that the ICM (Ignition Coil Module) could be bad so we did what it said to test it, and it said that it determined it's bad. I am going to try that. I had a problem earlier where the tach went arratic but the car worked fine and that was the coil bad. I have also put a new coil in since then to try that. We know that it's an electrical problem because we hooked the Timing light up and drove down the road, and as the car bogged down the timing light shut off since there was no spark....we checked and cleaned the Distributor, we replaced the Igniter and that didn't help. I unhooked the map sensor and that helped it. The sensor wasn't giving out the 5 volts the Chilton book said it would. What could be the problem. How can I test the MAP sensor
Thanks
Derek
