AutoX Video Wendover Airport, sorta dial-up friendly......
May need a codec to watch, d/l the free one from here:
http://www.divx.com/divx/download/
Watch my DA keep up with Evo's, STi's, and a 600whp DC.
There was also a Lotus Elise, Z28, 2 more Evo's and another STi that didn't run as fast. Not bragging, (well perhaps a little), just impressed with a 15 year old car (bought for $850) beating a lot of more expensive rides.
For my car setup, check out:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1210330
Here is the race:
http://www.provoscooter.com/Video/AutoX.avi - about 8 megs
Here are the results:
http://www.provoscooter.com/Video/results.avi - about 9 megs
Have fun!!

It's right on the northwest side of the Utah/Nevada Border. Wendover's for people that don't want to make the 6+ hour trip to get down to Vegas.

P Nut, where you at? And you know Joe and them?
I hang out with those guys all the time.
That course is pretty fast, i hit a buck 10 on the straight before slamming on the brakes in to that corner.
Yeah the camera work is not that great, i had a short zoom and an shaky hand. For the next race i will have an in car mount and a tripod AND a longer zoom on a camera with image stabilization. We should also have multiple cameras for more angles. I'll probably venture around the track to get some of the backside too.
Have fun!

Anyone that wants to come, the next race is on the 14 of May.
There will be a group going from UT county together and anyone is welcome.
The cool part about it is that there are some cars that run that are basically stock. There was even a guy one time that rented a Taurus and just unleashed on the track. That car got hammered.

That is an SCCA event.
On the 14th it is an Intermountain Vintage Racing event.

From what i hear there is usually a lot of people at the SCCA events (which means less runs) and they are very strict about the rules, and whatnot. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, if anyone has been to an SCCA even in Wendover.
The IVR events are super laid-back and there isn't usually many people out there. Last time I made 6 runs at 10-12 laps each. That made it about $1.20 a lap.
If anyone has differing opinions, please post as i would like to hear from someone that has been there and knows (i only have second-hand knowledge about SCCA in Wendover).
